I became a carer for my Mum around 4 years ago. Mum's health has never been good and from what started as helping out more perpetuated into being a full time carer / nurse / coordinator / jack of all trades!
Yes it's stressful and I don't get much time for myself but she taught me to use cutlery, it's now my time to look after her and give her the time and patience she once gave me
