Yarning About Dementia – Mungindi
Join a culturally safe yarning session to learn about dementia, share experiences and connect with others.
This yarn provides a greater understanding of dementia and an opportunity to share experiences.
Topics include:
-What is dementia? Symptoms and signs
-Understanding changes in behaviour
-How to communicate
-Carer wellness
Share stories and discuss strategies to support individuals and people living with dementia. This interactive session encourages participants to share their experiences and develop new support networks.
