The day will be opened with an activity from St John leading into a talk from Arafmi, an organisation who provide quality support, education and advocacy services to people with mental illness, their families and carers. After a short break, there will be some traditional basket weaving with Kalkadoon-Kuk Yalanji woman, Kim Ah Sam. This will provide an opportunity for some gentle discussion and focus. There will be a shared lunch leading into an activity from Superdream around self care. The day will then end with a meditation and reflection from Buddhist nun, Venerable Tenzin Drolkar.
All sessions will have a focus on the importance of self care for those who care for others.
