This is an opportunity to take a break from your caring role and enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch with other Carers in nature.
Caring for the Mental Health Carer Carers Week Lunch is a therapeutic group program designed for people aged over 18 who are at risk of developing a mental health challenge.
This workshop provides a safe, welcoming and confidential space for carers to connect with others who understand the realities of supporting a loved one with a mental health challenge. Facilitated by experienced Helping Minds staff, the group focuses on connection, emotional support, shared understanding and practical wellbeing strategies.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
Share experiences and concerns in a supportive and non-judgemental environment
Connect with other Mental Health Carers who understand the carer journey
Build confidence, resilience and emotional wellbeing
Learn about resources, services and supports available to carers
Enjoy light refreshments while building meaningful connections
This group is therapeutic, offering emotional support and education. It is not a clinical or counselling service.
